Victory against Baxi Manresa to start the year at home (103-76)

Valencia Basket kicked off 2016 at the Roig Arena with their eleventh victory in the Liga Endesa, defeating Baxi Manresa 103-76 in a strong team performance. They dominated from the end of the first quarter, scoring in transition and with points in the paint without needing to rely on their outside shooting. The Valencia team recovered from Baxi Manresa's initial scoring to take control of the game with four consecutive three-pointers in the final stretch of the first quarter. Despite falling behind, which put them under pressure again, they increased their intensity, running the floor and finishing the first half with an 11-0 run, giving them their largest lead of the game at halftime. Although the Catalan team came out better after the break, Pedro Martínez's men dealt a blow to the game with a 14-0 run in the third quarter and did not allow them to get close at any time with a good defensive finish that allowed them to run to score and close the victory with their maximum advantage.
